Program Description: This presentation covers information about geothermal energy, applications, technology and industry in Illinois, and explain how public and private infrastructures could benefit from its efficiency in heating and cooling at multiple scales. Our presenters explain how operational performance depends on several design factors, as well as understanding and using knowledge of shallow ground processes to advance geothermal exchange systems in Illinois.
